Abundance Of Fabrics offers sewing and quilting for beginners by

our talented and experienced instructor, Phyllis Ireland.

At the age of ten Phyllis began sewing doll clothing, thus beginning her career as a fine seamstress.  After she married and had children, she would make her children's clothing as well as her own.  She would also make curtains and many decorative items.

For ten years Phyllis worked at Six Flags/Great Adventure as a seamstress helping to create all of their show costumes.

For eleven and a half years Phyllis also worked at the Walmart in Manahaawkin in their fabric department, cutting fabric and helping customers.  Using her skills and knowledge of sewing, she answered the many customer questions, over the years, about the items in the department and offered the same help that she now offers in Abundance Of Fabrics as an instructor.

The age of her students at Abundance Of Fabrics range from 7 years old to seniors.

Class Hours: Wednesday 10 AM - 6 PM

Thursday 1 PM - 6 PM 

Friday 12 Noon - 6 PM

Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM

$15.00 for 1 hour of instruction

$25.00 for 2 hours of instruction

All classes are held at Abundance Of Fabrics store.
