I remember how often, in the 50's and 60's, I would notice all of the wonderful Christmas decorations hanging on the outside of the homes in my Brooklyn neighborhood.  Many were the larger lights or as we call them, "old fashioned lights".  And it was amazing to us when we'd find a small Brooklyn home which was decorated from the top of the chimney to the front of the lawn.  Christmas music would be playing as many drove past homes like this just to see the free show of lights and what appeared to be the home owners desire to let everyone know that they were happy that Christmas was here.

Likewise in those wonderful Brooklyn neighborhoods, I had many Jewish friends, who decorated their homes in a less lavish manner, but in a manner which meant as much to them as our Christmas decorations meant to Christians.  The 9 candle Menorah would be in a window.  It was the Festival of Lights and each night for the length of Hanukkah, a new light would be lit.  It was a wonderful tradition.  All of us shared our holiday traditions with each other and we enjoyed them.  The memories of those days are warm and comforting.  We hope that you will use our fabrics to make new memories with old and new friends as you prepare wonderful holiday gifts for all.
